Successful storekeeper & businessman of Concord, Mass.; brother of Daniel Shattuck (statistician, genealogist, public servant in Concord & Boston, bookseller/publisher, & author of 1835 history of Concord). Born in Ashby, Mass., July 10, 1790; married Sarah Edwards of Ashby Apr. 23, 1816; died in Concord, Aug. 13, 1867.
